When I started working with Angela my goals were to stop my addiction to soft drink… and have more energy. Angela was able to provide me with relevant information without being overwhelming and give me an easy and achievable step by step program. Now I don’t even crave soft drink and I have lost and kept the weight off. The most significant change is that I see food in a totally different way ie. nutrient value, and I eat a greater variety of foods. I would describe Angela as friendly, understanding, a great listener and knowledgeable. I would recommend my coach, Angela, to people who want lasting change.
When I started working with Angela my goals were weight loss, provide better options for myself and my family, to learn more about sugar and to increase my sleeping from 2.5 hours to 8 hours. Angela supported me constantly! Providing me with additional information about food, water, whole foods, sugar, this impact of diet coke, increasing my exercise and meals to provide for myself and my family and more importantly, where to go to seek this information. The biggest tangible change is mindful eating for me and my children, and increased sleep (I feel like a different person)! I reached a personal weight goal which I have not been at since before children (7 years ago). Whilst I still have a lot of work to do on my own weight loss journey, I feel that I have a lot more tools to make better choices. I am more conscious about stress levels and have learnt to breathe in times of stress. Angela has been able to empower me when no one else has succeeded. I have had assistance to make, meet and exceed my own goals both in my personal life but also in my professional life, all thanks to Angela. Angela is confident, bubbly, organised, empowering and friendly (yet gently firm when required). She has allowed me the chance to live up to my full potential. In essence, Angela has guided, empowered and improved my life. A massive thank you for guiding me helping me. The sessions really forced me to look at the choices I was making and how I can change these for the better. I want to keep you forever but do feel like I have the skills to go at it on my own.
I always felt like it had to be all or nothing, that I had to make big change that instantly cut out bad foods and jump full on into exercise all at the same time, my coach has shown me that it doesn’t have to be. By implementing small changes each fortnight I am taking a step closer to my goal which makes it feel achievable. It’s easy to take small steps; this helps you to stay motivated as you don’t feel like you have failed which is what happens when you try the all or nothing approach and can’t sustain it. Knowing that someone wants you to succeed is a great feeling.
